Take Better Pictures. Easier.
Get professional results without the fuss and extra equipment. Make sure your next camera has ABF Technology.
The key to better photos is better lighting. In situations where a flash is required, it is best to supply a soft diffused light such as that provided by a bounce flash rather than a strong direct light such as that provided by a built-in on-camera flash. Cameras that are integrated with ABF Technology can take studio quality bounce-lit photographs without requiring the user to spend extra time setting up external flashes or carrying around additional expensive and bulky equipment. The diagrams below show the difference between bounce flash and direct flash.
On-camera direct flash has been around since the point-and-shoot camera was invented. And since that time, photographers (amateurs and professionals) have had to battle with harsh flash shadows, red-eye and flat or washed-out pictures. The direct flash, although conveniently built-in, is very poor at providing natural looking lighting and is reluctantly used by most enthusiasts and professionals.
When using the bounce flash, the photos look much more natural and there is no ugly shadow. You can see many more examples of the benefits of bounce flash in our links page. Historically, the trade-off for better pictures has been more equipment, more time and more money.
Wouldn't it be great if you could achieve the results of the bounce flash equipment without the inconvenience or extra cost?
ABF technology provides an effective way to achieve a proper bounce flash by intergrating multiple compact flash units and sensors along with proprietary software within the body of the camera. Cameras with ABF technology can take studio-quality photos and still fit in your pocket.
